I'm baffled that this place doesn't have a 5 star average! I've been here with my friends a few times and every experience has been exceptional! The food is always amazing with good portions and leftovers to spare. The complimentary additions are great and generous as well. All the staff are friendly, patient, and won't hesitate to help you. Me and my friends have gotten free complimentary desserts from them, their generosity is just out of this world. I really hope this place stays a while, I have zero complaints! I will definitely come here more often.

Beautiful ambiance when you walk in. The smell of deliciousness engulfs you. The lovely decor and friendly faces greet you as you enter. Delicious food so good I forgot to take a picture it was gone so fast. Update. My husband and I had dinner there and just like when we picked up our food the people were so nice. The ambiance was amazing. The servers were so attentive to what we wanted and what we needed and what we didn't know we wanted. They explained to us the menu. They offered up wonderful selections and when the food came out it was hot. It was delicious! It was just amazing. This place is a hidden gem. It really needs more exposure. You will not be disappointed. The inside was so clean and as you're eating you know they come over and they wipe off the table. You know in between your appetizers and your main dish and your dessert there's so much more to say about this restaurant. The vibration of it is very high. Even the vibration of the food is very high. High quality. A really great place.

Best Indian restaurant in Syracuse! Amazing service! The servers were polite, welcoming, and very attentive. The entire team made me feel right at home. the place is clean, and the food is absolutely delicious. You have to try it—once you do, you won’t forget them! This was my third time going. At first, they bring something like dried bread with sauce and Indian tea as a welcome treat. Then they design your food even with flowers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Raj Saffron House is my absolute favorite restaurant in Syracuse by a long shot. I eat vegan (whole foods plant based) and the owner and staff are very accommodating, offering many suggestions on-menu and off-menu. The food is also very healthy; low-salt, low-oil, and I always feel great after eating, which is hard to find in Syracuse! They are very kind as well, its a great vibe to visit and fun to see the place packed. People know a good thing, and when it comes to the 'Cuse, we are really lucky for a restaurant as great as RSH. My absolute fav thing here is the Gobi Manchurian, which reminds me of my beloved 'cauliflower wings' (for all my fellow vegans who love that kind of thing). I also loved the aloo gobi, chana masala. EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious, beautifully presented, and for a tall guy, it is VERY filling and at a great price. For how delicious the food is, AND beautifully presented, I am surprised by how easy on the wallet it is, the bill is always beautiful at the end. I love everyone who works here. The vibe is very nice. Chill music playing, chill interior design, comfy seats, clean tables, clean bathrooms, and beautiful fresh flowers on the table. For parking they have (a) their own parking lot, (b) the big lot accessible of Harvard Pl or Westcott, or (c) street parking. Oh! Its also so easy to pay, you just scan QR code and DONE, I love it. This place is amazing and well thought out, through and through. I look forward to coming back again and again! I just came home from Raj and thinking about my next trip. If I had one wish in this whole world, I wish they would make vegan lassi or vegan desserts with vegan yogurt :P. There's so many oat and coconut based yogurts that everyone loves so it should be a big hit for the lactose intolerant who love their 'healthy' sweets :P Much love to Raj Saffron House!

Absolutely delicious! I'm so glad this place came to the neighborhood and I can't wait to come here often. All of the food was amazing, so flavorful, and presented beautifully. I can't wait to try more of the menu! This time we got 'butter chicken' which is my favorite, chicken fried rice, tons of naan- all delicious and some mango and strawberry lasi. The service was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly.

Absolutely magnificent. Drove into town from Oswego looking for a good dine-in and was blown away. The food was delicious and fresh. The plating and attention to detail were on point, and my server was courteous and made good recommendations. The ambience was clean, low-lighting with smooth jazz in the background. They even have a place to hang your coat. You can tell Raj (owner) really cares about his business and was very humble and accommodating. I wouldn’t think twice about driving into town just for Saffron house.

Probably my favorite restaurant experience to date! The service and hospitality go beyond these 5 stars. The hosts started us with a free cauliflower appetizer, served our party of 7 amazingly, and even brought out a surprise birthday cake for our friends! We love our tikka masala but the host had great recommendations for us to try so that we didn't have to order 7 of the same thing. You won't go wrong if you order the chicken tikka masala, chicken malaber, chicken mango curry, and mango or strawberry lassi. The chicken tikka was great chicken, but not very flavorful. Vegetable samosa were delightful- would ask for sauce with them next time. Genuinely such a wonderful experience, and they deserve every positive review they’ve received. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality we received. If you're visiting Syracuse, stopping by this spot is a must!!
